KOO Partners comprise four (4) professionally qualified, experienced and dedicated partners, who lead the staff in the provision of excellent professional services. They are:
Alfred A.Oyegbile – Chairman/Partner
Alfred, a mathematics graduate from the University of Ibadan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 and was admitted a partner in Deloitte, Haskins & Sells on October 1, 1989. He became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants on 2 September 1993.
At Deloitte Adetona Isichei (formerly Deloitte Haskins & Sells), he was transferred to the Consulting arm of the practice in 1994 as an Executive Director and has been involved in the provision of services like review and preparation of operating/accounting and internal audit manuals, review of financial projection for inclusion in prospectus, accounting systems and reorganization of some companies.
He also worked with the US Trade and Development Agency (TDA) definitional mission to Nigeria on power project financing, energy strategy, emergency power programme, independent power programme, and Power Sector Planning.
He has handled due diligence and share valuation assignments for several companies.
During Banks consolidation, he carried out quality reviews of Human Resource Due Diligence for the following banks: NAL Bank, EIB International Bank, Prudent Bank, Magnum Trust Bank, NBM Bank,
Trust Bank of Africa, Indo-Nigerian Bank, Bond Bank, Chartered Bank, Cooperative Bank, New Nigerian Bank, and Trade Bank.
Recently, he led a team comprising experts from South Africa and Nigeria to carry out Staff Placement Assessment for the Federal Inland Revenue Service. He voluntarily retired from Akintola Williams Deloitte on January 31, 2009.
Ebenezer O. Koyejo , Managing Partner/CEO
Ebenezer, an Accounting graduate from the University of Lagos, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in November, 1981 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) on 29 October,1992. He started his career at Deloitte Haskins and Sells (later known as Deloitte Adetona Isichei & Co) on January 28, 1980. He became a Partner on October 1, 1992. Upon the merger of Adetona Isichei & Co with Akintola Williams & Co in 1 June 1999, he became a Partner of the new firm until his departure from Akintola William Deloitte on January 31, 2009 after 28 years.
His wealth of experience spans auditing and financial services in manufacturing and consumer business as well as the privatization of public enterprises in strategic Industries. He has attended various conferences and courses in Europe, USA , Africa and Nigeria and was also an assessor of the ICAN professional examination in taxation for several years.
Tao A. Ogunwolu.
Tao is a graduate of Accountancy from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where he obtained Higher National Diploma in 1980. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in May 1981, and was admitted as a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in February, 1982.
Tao joined Deloitte Haskins & Sells in July 1981 and became a partner on October 1, 1989. He voluntarily retired from Akintola Williams Deloitte in November 2007 and has since remained in professional practice
He is a seasoned Chartered Accountant and Tax Practitioner with over 28 years experience. He has presented papers at various workshops and seminars organized by both CITN and ICAN. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
Olusegun A. Olufuwa
Segun qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in the U.K in December, 1980 and was admitted as an Associate and Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (U.K) in 1982 and 1988 respectively. He was also admitted as an Associate and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1983 and 1993 respectively.
He became full manager on 1 April, 1988 and Senior manager 1 February,1989. He was admitted into the Partnership with effect from 1 April, 1991.
He joined Deloitte Haskins and Sells ( the predecessor firm of Adetona Isichei & Co) in 1981. After the merger of Adetona Isichei & Co with Akintola Williams Deloitte in April, 1999, Segun was one of the Senior Partners in charge of Audit and Assurance. He has acquired considerable experience over the last 28 years in the audit of manufacturing, banking, insurance, construction and hospitality industries. He was the lead partner for Financial Institutions Audit in Akintola Williams Deloitte as well as the Human Resources Partner for both Adetona Isichei and Akintola Williams for a period of over 8 years before retiring on January 31, 2009. Segun has attended various training, seminars and conferences both locally and internationally and has also been an assessor in Financial Management for ICAN professional examination for several years. |
